Look no further, The Barn is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable person to join our team as a part-time retail assistant!
(you must be a minimum of 17 years old to apply)
Responsibilities:
- Greeting customers and providing friendly and helpful service.
- Operating the tills & processing sales transactions.
- Dealing with customer enquiries and providing help and advice..
- Assisting in maintaining the appearance of the Store & Garden Centre by ensuring tidiness & cleanliness.
Requirements:
- Have a good level of physical fitness. You will be sometimes be assisting customers with lifting heavy items (such as large plants & compost to their cars)
- You must have the ability to work weekends, be reliable and punctual.
- Must be a minimum of 17 years old to apply.
- The role will require working 2 days a week (Friday & Saturdays, with the potential for extra shifts)
Experience is not essential as training will be provided! More importantly we are looking for people who will always be professional, personable and will ensure our customers receive a warm and friendly visit to our our Garden Centre.
